Electronic ticket system stores electronically all reservation and flight data in the system. Electronic ticket is an electronic version of the conventional paper ticket which is faster, safer and more practical. All reservation and ticket details are kept securely in the system and possible reservation change, route change, refund or check-in transactions can be made electronically through the stored ticket database.
You have 3 important reasons to prefer electronic ticket:
Booking an e-ticket is not different from booking a paper ticket.
Reservation can be made for eligible electronic ticket destinations by our THY sales offices , Call Center and through our web site. The main difference from paper ticket is that, all electronic ticket information is stored in computer systems. So all reservation and electronic ticket data can easily be provided at any time without having a paper ticket.
During e-ticket issuance, instead of conventional paper ticket, you will receive an “itinerary receipt” which confirms all reservation and ticket data with the e-ticket number. If you do not receive this document at the time of purchase, you can also take it later on and this document can be used as “invoice” at the same time. Please contact the nearest THY Sales Office (within maximum 7 days from the flight date) to receive e-ticket document which includes electronic ticket information and can also be used as an invoice.
Electronic ticketing process is available for the following domestic, destination and departure points; Antalya, Adana, Trabzon, Batman, Diyarbakır, Erzincan, Erzurum, Gaziantep, Kars, Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, Malatya, Muş, Şanlıurfa, Van and Mardin. Our international flights for which the electronic ticketing process is available at the moment are as follows; Vienna, Tehran and Basel.
You can go directly to check-in counters at the airport, if you have an e-ticket booking. You will only need an Identification Card with photo. (Personel identification card, driving licence, passport or marriage certificate)
