Festival Preparations In Çanakkale

Çanakkale is in a feverish rush. Preparations have begun for the 2010 1st Traditional International Troia Transparent Cart Horse Festival that will take place July 16th to 24th. The festival, whose motto for this year is ‘World Festivals Gather in Çanakkale’, will take place simultaneously in seven of Çanakkale’s neighbourhoods. 14 films are so far scheduled to appear at the festival, all of which are in Turkish. The event, to which many international figures will be invited to, is being coordinated bySaim Yavuz, İsmail Erten, Eyüp Görgüler, Rüstem Aslan and S. Başol Özyayla. All screenings at the festival will be free of charge.
