Following the opening ceremony held on June 24th with the presence of high level officials of THY, members of the press and AnadoluJet authorities, upon arrival the passengers were met by Nakhichevan authorities, accompanied by performing folk dancers, which was followed by a press conference and a promotion tour, introducing the region and the new flights. Among the first passengers of the flight were Mr. Hulusi Kılıç, Turkish Ambassador to Baku, Azerbaijan, and Istanbul Consul General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul, Hasan Zeynalov, as well as Turkish Consul General in Nakhichevan, Ayhan Enginar.
