The ARKİV Selections project, the second of which was organized this year, documented architectural production in Turkey from 2008-2009. The results of the project have now been announced. ARKIV Selections investigated 108 buildings completed in 2008 and 70 buildings completed in 2009. In the end, 68 projects were found worthy of taking place in ARKİV Selections 2009, after an evaluation process which excluded interior design and outsourced production.

The project included different projects from 14 different cities within the national  borders of Turkey. Istanbul was the most heavily represented province with 32 buildings.
