An Award From North Cyprus

North Cyprus Hoteliers Association’s (KITOB) 5th “Green Olive” Special Tourism Awards Ceremony took place at 29th July 2009. During the ceremony, which was held by KKTC President Mehmet Ali Talat and attended by Prime Minister Derviş Eroğlu, people and corporations that have contributed to national tourism were awarded. North Cyprus Economy Minister Ersin Tatar presented the award for “Transportation” Cyprus CEO Mustafa Uğurlu in the name of THY and AnadoluJet. This year, Turkish Airlines and AnadoluJet have leaded the operation of interconnecting 25 new logistic points to North Cyprus which has been under embargo.
