Jazz Lives on in Ankara

Jazz lovers from Ankara will be witnessing jazz as it goes on—the theme of the Ankara Jazz Festival hosted by the Italian Embassy this year is “The Pulse of Jazz.” Held February 2–25 with this theme, the festival features artists famous especially for percussive instruments… Figures famous locally and internationally attended the opening ceremony. Forty-eight foreign players, totaling 109, will appear on stage at the festival…
