A process that started upon the receipt of a letter from a teacher to AnadoluJet Customer Relations bore fruit in Ağrı Province with a meeting with students from a vocational high school. The letter written by the young and idealistic project-coordinating teachers coming from easternmost Anatolia in the name of the students of Ağrı Şerife Bacı Girls’ Technical and Vocational High School, expressed their need for books to create a library. High-school teachers Serdar Kirenli and Muhammed Kamil Yaykan communicated their request for books for their school library to large companies, and AnadoluJet heard their voices.
Moving to act upon receiving the letter, AnadoluJet collected dozens of books, with great support from its employees following a staff announcement. Transporting the collected books in person to Ağrı despite rough winter conditions, they met with students, school administrators, and teachers too. The Turkish Airlines/AnadoluJet Ağrı Director and AnadoluJet Customer Relations and Public Relations staff were among those present at the school visit, during which the female students were considerably excited.
