CerModern will be hosting two exhibits the first week of April 2012 and a series of activities and workshops through the rest of the month in continuation of the CerEdebiyat literature event that began in March.
Patterns and Design
The patterns and designs of Marimekko—one of 2012 World Design City Helsinki’s brand names—are open to visitation through April 8, 2012 at the Finnish Embassy in Ankara in association with Design Museo Helsinki.
CerModern’s new CerEdebiyat Creative Writing Workshop continues with four more sessions. The workshops Fundamentals of Written Narrative I on April 7 and 14, Literary Readings on April 21, and From Theory to Practice on April 28 await interested individuals.
Aslı Kutluay’s exhibit “Kırmızı Pabuçlu Kadınlar” (Women with Red Shoes), which began on March 8, International Women’s Day, is ending on April 8. Kutluay provides her personal interpretation of women who left their marks on history and art from antiquity up to today in her “Kırmızı Pabuçlu Kadınlar” series.
