The Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, which has been supporting young talents since the day it was founded, will be coming to Turkey for the first time ever.
They are slated to appear in Istanbul on September 17 and İzmir on September 19. The group took listeners on a voyage along the borders of Eastern and Western civilizations with their Queen Elisabeth Music Voyage album series released in 2007 and 2009. Conducted by Jean-Claude Casadesus, the group will play Puccini and Mendelssohn in its Hagia Irene concert on September 17, after which it will play Mozart in the Library of Celsus amid the ruins of Ephesus on September 19.
