Golden Sultanas Awards

The dates of the Manisa Golden Sultanas Short Film Festival, the second of which is being held this year, have been set: November 18, 19, and 20. Providing a venue for amateur and professional filmmakers to come together and participate in discussions, the festival draws attention for its film screenings as well as panels, interviews, and workshops. The first occurrence of the festival, which is realized within the scope of the Young Turkish Cinema project, had attracted close to one thousand participants and viewers. One of the surprises of the festival is the Golden Sultanas Awards given in the categories of Fiction, Documentary, Animated, and Experimental work.
