Photographs from Unseen Turkey

National Geographic Turkey has gathered numerous old photographs of and on Turkey in honor of its tenth anniversary. The photographs, covering a period from the Ottoman Empire to the early Republic, have been selected from among eight million printed cards found in National Geographic’s 123-year-old archives.
