Considered one of the most talented pianists in the world, David Helfgott, who suffers from schizophrenia and has had his life adapted into the Oscar-winning movie “Shine,” will be in Turkey to give seven concerts in five cities.
The series of concerts will start in Istanbul on May 29 and move on to Ankara. The artist will appear on stage in Ankara on June 2 and 3 at the Presidential Symphony Orchestra Hall, after which he will be at the Antalya Cultural Center on June 5, the Adana Metropolitan Theater Hall on June 7 and 8, and the İzmir Adnan Saygun Cultural Hall on June 10.
