AnadoluJet Magazine - February 2011

Dear Passengers,

Dear Passengers,

Here, in the first days of 2011, are Anadolujet Magazine’s brand new face and renewed contents! There are two completely new sections in the magazine that you will follow with pleasure. The first is “From Us,” prepared with the support of our captains and company employees.

This issue, in From Us, we will be telling you about the aircraft that have newly joined our fleet. Meanwhile, in our other new section, we shall relate the stories of individuals and organizations that made a difference in Anatolia with what they did.

We shall continue to appear before you with brand new sections in future issues as well. We greet you, our valued passengers, with new campaigns, new flight locations, news from the sector, and stories and colorful images from Anatolia, and wish you a year full of health, success, and peace, in which you may be reunited with your loved ones through safe, economical, and pleasant trips.

We are grateful to you for choosing “Anatolia’s jet,” which is just two and a half years old, delivering to us the pride that we deserve for being the fastest growing brand in domestic flights in this country – the fastest growing among European countries in domestic passenger transportation – through your contributions as our valued guests.

By the end of 2010, Siirt, Tokat, Uşak, Isparta, and Çanakkale took their places on AnadoluJet’s map as well, with round trip flights from Ankara and Istanbul each day of the week. With the addition of the Ağrı destination, which we launched when its airport was reopened for service on January 6, 2011, AnadoluJet reached a total of thirty-six domestic locations, flying to more locations in Turkey than any other airline.

We shall continue to appear before you with brand new flight destinations soon. Meanwhile, in the international arena, with the Istanbul-Nicosia and Ankara-Moscow lines that we launched toward the end of 2010 and the Ankara-London line we launched at the end of this past month, we now reach a total of fourteen flight locations abroad.

Our new campaigns continue uninterrupted as the chilly bite of the winter months rears its head. Between the dates of February 22 and March 30, all seats will be 59 TL on tickets for domestic flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays that are bought from our website at www.anadolujet.com and call center at +90 212 444 2 538. Additionally, we would like to break the news that planning for new campaigns with our children in mind is now under way.

Our valuable guests,
With the two ATR-72 type aircraft we leased from Borajet Airlines, we have taken an important step toward carrying passengers to the provinces we fly to more frequently as well as spreading and advancing civil aviation. In addition, two other aircraft are joining our fleet at the end of this month to help carry out our impending summer schedule.

With the wet leasing of one more regional plane, the total number of aircraft in our fleet will have gone up to twenty-seven. Thus, our services that began with five planes – the fleet underlying our flight network that ties all of Anatolia together – reaches twenty-seven planes, growing more than fivefold before we even complete our third year.

Dear students,
The first of the activities that we organized as the “Jetgenç Campus Meetings” took place on December 22 at the Black Sea Technical University, which has the most Jetgenç members; later, on December 29, it was at Konya Selçuk University. We thank you for the heavy interest you have shown and your participation in the events, which started with simulator activities and lasted all day.

We would also like to use this opportunity to announce the Gelişim Akademi events, which will take place in the cities of Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Erzurum, Kahramanmaraş, Kayseri, Malatya, Muş, and Van during the second semester of the academic year, and our “The Span of Unopened Wings Is Unknown” activities. We extend our wishes for you to spend a pleasant semester break with the ones that you love and miss.
