The premiere of the “Seslerle Anadolu” (Sounds of Anatolia) project—the transportation sponsor of which is AnadoluJet—took place December 10, 2011. Gathering cultural and musical Anatolian treasures from Black Sea folk songs to Aegean dances, from Istanbul songs to Rumi, and from the traditional shadow puppetry of Karagöz and Hacivat to the epic of Köroğlu, “Seslerle Anadolu” had its premiere performed by the performers of the Samsun State Opera and Ballet. On the project’s 2012 calendar are the provinces Kastamonu, Çorum, Yozgat, Tokat, Ordu, Karabük, Sivas, Erzincan, Giresun, Trabzon, Bayburt, Erzurum, Gümüşhane, Rize, Kars, Van, and Iğdır.
